PRINTING
It is the client’s responsibility to organize the artwork, proofing and printing and to liaise with the printer on sizes, orientations, specs and delivery deadlines etc. Please see above, poster sizes and images. Please note that 12 sheet posters are printed in 3 60X40 sections, with a bleed for overlapping to facilitate rolling and posting. Your printer should be aware of this. If you or your printer is in any doubt over print specs, please contact the office directly for clarification.
On all posters, please allow 1 & 1/2 inch above and below so that all information is visible between these measurements. Again if in doubt, please contact us.
All posters should be printed on blue back paper suitable for wet rolling and pasting. Although we accept digitally printed posters, screen-printed posters are preferable. However, we understand most printers are now using digital.
We require spares for each campaign to cover any damages, which may occur over the course of the campaign, approximately 10% spares for each week of the campaign.
It is important and in your interest to discuss the design of your poster with the printer as well as your designer with particular regard to colour or black & white, which works best and which is most cost effective. Black & white with minimal information such as date, venue, artist etc. can be most effective.
POSTER DELIVERY
Posters should be delivered on the Tuesday/Wednesday of the week previous to the campaign commencement date to facilitate preparation and transfer to posting vans, Delivery is to either our offices at Merchants Court 24 Merchants Quay or to our stores at Unit 2, Broombridge Business Centre, Broombridge Station, Bannow Rd. Dublin 8.
